Because He first loved me. Isn't it amazing that we so often forget that we are loved? I mean, we carry on day by day going through the grime of time and just when, for whatever reason, you feel lonely; there's God. I truly believe that we find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
Have you ever been out in the yard on a sunny day and all of a sudden, a shadow comes over you? You not only see it, you feel it? That's my God. When I least expect him, he's there. I may forget about him at times when my mind is full, but thanks be to God, he doesn't forget about me.
