We Never Know

I'm watching an episode of Anthony Bourdain - Parts Unknown. It's a episode I haven't seen before, where he's in West Virginia. His time with the coal miners was real touching. I really enjoyed watching his show, listening to him speak. To me, it was really as if you were there with him experiencing what he experienced minus the taste of the food or the odors in the air.
There are times, and sadly only when they are no longer amongst the living, that we realize that we have a friend who we never met and never would have, but yet they made an impact on us in one way or another. Maybe that's the lesson for each of us: remember that no matter who we are, what we do, where we are, that we have an impact on someone. Let's make it a good one that will bless them.
